Blossom is one of the puppys we kept from the breeding to Can Ch Rainforest’s Under The Lights ex Can Ch Celticmoon’s Petals Of Wysdom. One of our other beautiful pick puppys, a sable rough girl who will be known as Celticmoon’s Sundrop At Aidan ( Pictures are up on our Sharing Is Caring page) went to Texas to Erin Gorney and they will be perusing the conformation ring and performance sports. Both girls were beautiful and we had a hard time deciding which one to keep! But since Erin was wonderful enough to travel all the way to BC from Texas, we let her have her choice of the two girls. We are truly blessed to have one of our puppy’s in such a wonderful home!
Blossom (AKA Honey Blossom) is a little spitfire who keeps us on our toes! She is a natural in almost everything we have tried with her and we look forward to watching her grow up. At 6 months of age we took Blossom out to the farm and tried her on sheep, she did not disappoint us! Unlike other pups that chase and play, Blossom was actually really working useing her mind. Blossom has also been started in obedience and rally.
Well blossom had her show debut in November 2009 at the Elsie Murray shows in BC. Again she did not disappoint us! at just 6 months of age blossom won her class and was RWB all wk-end including RWB at the CCBC. She was a delight to show and is very serious about her performance. In January 2010 at just 8 months of age blossom won BOB on Sat/Sun at the Ladies Kennel Club Shows in BC for her first 2 points, she is turning out to be a beauty!
March 2010 we went to Pomona California to the Collie Club Of America National. Blossom placed 4th in the 9-12 AOC class under Barb Linder shown beautifully by Keri Campbell. The following wk-end back in BC Blossom was entered at our all breed shows and went BOB all four days as well as winning Best Puppy In Group on one of the days. Many thanks again to Keri Campbell for her lovely grooming and presentation of Blossom. Blossom finished her Championship at 16 months of age in September 2010 at our Mt Cheam Canine Association shows wining BOB all three days. From Blossoms very first 2 points, she was undefeated at the breed level. Now we wait for her to mature and do some titles!!! Blossom has started competition obedience and agility with her friend Cynthia and will be making her debut in the USA in December 2010.
